This is Tamworth --STUDENTS at Rawlett School have achieved another record set of results, improving in all measures for the third year in a row.
The success builds on last year's results and the latest 'good' Ofsted report.
Headteacher of the school, Tim Bassett, said: "As a direct result of stronger partnerships within our learning community the vast majority of Rawlett students are now able to move to the next stage of their learning.
"Our higher attaining students this year were Holly Cowans (6A*,3As, DIST), Matthew Gibert (5A*,4As, 2Bs), Mia Callens (4A*,6As, 1Bs) and Will Dutton (3A*,4As, 3Bs, DIST).
"The progress of all students from Key Stage 2 is vital and in this cohort a record number of students made expected progress in English and maths.
"Molly Sharpe, Rachel Hitchman, Josh Reeves and Rosie Browne were our most improved students this year – leading the way for our best ever progress measures."
He added: "As expected our headline figures are once again extremely positive but, alongside this, the year group were also one of the best we have seen.
"They led a huge number of activities in school and were excellent role models to younger students. Students are now both qualified and prepared to move on in life."
