Morton, whose credits also include The Good Wife and White Collar, will play Dr. Charles Russell, the serious, dry, and intimidating head of Katherine's hospital, who is hard-pressed to control the maverick Katherine, but who appreciates her abilities and commitment. Since Morton is only a guest star on Scandal, he could potentially still make appearances on the ABC drama as Rowan, the father of Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).
