With Force Friday underway, “Star Wars” fans the world over have taken to social media to share the first images of the new toys from Episode VII, “The Force Awakens.”
The treasure trove of merchandise released provides a good look at BB-8 — the soccer ball style droid that has been prominently featured in the trailers — in action as it rolls around people’s homes.
Curious fans also get to see the action-figure versions of the new characters, with one fan already recreating the lightsaber duel between Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Finn (John Boyega) in the latest teaser. There’s even a toy version of Ren’s lightsaber, complete with that sweet crossguard that had everyone talking after Disney released the very first teaser.
