BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The latest about Louisiana's possible ties to a salmonella outbreak in 27 states (all times local). 9:30 p.m. Whole Foods Market says it did not carry the brand of cucumbers recalled after nearly 300 people in 27 states became ill with salmonella. Louisiana's health department identified Whole Foods and Red Lobster on Saturday as national chains that got rid of the Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce "Limited Edition" cucumbers in Louisiana. Spokeswoman Olivia Watkins says both were on the FDA's recall list of chains which had bought the cucumbers, and local officials of both told state sanitarians they'd stocked and were dumping the vegetables.
