Sun Group Hotels, Barbados, has chosen Riva PR to handle its PR in the UK and Ireland.Sun Group Hotels is an offshoot of Sun Group Inc., a Barbados-based company which was originally established in 1982 with an offering which includes hotels, retail travel, general insurance, duty free retail and vehicle rental, run by chairman Bernard Weatherhead.
Weatherhead’s son, Rod Weatherhead, set up Sun Group Hotels in July 2014 and the group now comprises five properties in Barbados.
Riva has been briefed to position Sun Group Hotels as a leading privately-owned and family run hotel group in the Caribbean.
The team aims to highlight the current owned and managed properties in its portfolio throughout Barbados, as well as promote the company’s expansion and acquisition plans across the Caribbean.
