Electric Bike Technologies is making moves on Indiegogo as they near their $50,000 funding goal within a matter of days
Croydon, PA (PRWEB) September 30, 2015
The Liberty Trike electric bike crowdfunding campaign has reached 86 percent of its funding goal on Indiegogo in less than a week; the project surpassed its halfway mark within the first 48 hours of launching the campaign. Electric Bike Technologies is looking to raise a total of $50K and is well on their way to achieving it with more than $43,000 in funding.
For those who have trouble staying active, the Liberty Trike is a great alternative mode of mobility. Electric Bike Technologies upped the ante, making Liberty Trike a three-speed bike with a max speed of 11.5 mph to conquer steep inclines with ease. Not only does the Liberty Trike navigate tight spaces easily with a 360-degree turning radius, but makes traveling a breeze with its lightweight and foldable frame. The electric-assisted speed is ideal for hilly areas but can also be pedal-powered like a regular bicycle for extra activity.
“The amount of support and positive feedback that we’ve received within the first week of this campaign is outstanding,” said Jason Kraft, CEO of Electric Bike Technologies. “We couldn’t be more excited to bring an electric bike that is so easy to maneuver and transport to the people who need it the most.”
While the Liberty Trike serves to help those who want to increase their mobility and become more active, it was designed for all ages to ride safely and have fun while doing so. Some key features that set the Liberty Trike apart from other mobility scooters include its ability to pull up to 300 pounds, the foldable frame, which means no special vehicle amenities are needed, and its narrow 25” rear that allows riders to navigate doorways and aisles with ease.
There are still 11 early bird Liberty Trike’s left for $999, which is 50 percent off of the retail price. For those who aren’t able to get their hands on an early bird Liberty Trike, backers can still purchase the Champion of Liberty deal for $1,199, which is 40 percent off of the MSRP. The money raised from the Indiegogo campaign will go towards increasing staff and leveraging existing buying powers with suppliers.
