Olivia Wilde: Actress. Mother. And now, caller out of seemingly deceptive ads for breast pump bra ads.The “Vinyl” alum took time out from her holiday preparations on Thursday to call “bulls—” on an ad for a breast pump bra, or more specifically the choice of model for the ad.
“Real quick just wanna take a break from online (lazy-person) x mas shopping to call bullshit on this ad for a breast-pump bra cuz this lady definitely did not recently birth a child who requires breastmilk to be pumped,” Wilde wrote on Instagram. “Also want to give a quick cyber hug to this model who had to pretend to have recently birthed a milk-fed baby-child when she clearly has spent the last year lifting tiny weights and meditating.”

Wilde, who gave birth to daughter Daisy in October, went on to note, “PS. I own this bra and it’s awesome.”
In September, prior to the birth of her daughter, Wilde took to Twitter to chastise her fellow commuters for not offering a seat to her on the subway.
“NBD, able-bodied [subway] riders who won’t give your seat to a GIANT preggo. I’ll just stand riiiiight next to your head and pray I go into labor,” Wilde wrote at the time.

Wilde’s complaint was met with criticism by some, with one Twitter user firing back, “Pregnancy is not an illness or disability. You’re rich, call Uber or catch a cab! Entitled much?”

Nonetheless, way to speak truth to power — or at least perceived truth to breast pump bra ads. But Wilde might be milking the motherhood angle just a little bit.
