POLL: Who do you think killed Danny Latimer in David Tennant drama Broadchurch, filmed in Clevedon? This is Bristol -- Television crime drama Broadchurch, partly filmed in the Hill Road area of Clevedon, tells the story of investigation into the death of young boy Danny Latimer, resident of a fictional Dorset town. Each week viewers have been given hints, clues and misdirection as the identity of the killer. With six weeks gone, who do you think killed Danny? Here are the suspects and then vote in our poll (right): *Mark Latimer (Andrew Buchan)*: Danny's dad was in the spotlight when he couldn't account for his movements on the night of the murder, but it seems his extra-marital misdeeds were the reason for this and the focus has moved elsewhere. *Tom Miller (Adam Wilson)*: Danny's best friend and son of police officer DS Ellie Miller. Only in primary school so an unlikely suspect but has been behaving strangely since Danny's death and wiped contact with Danny from his mobile phone and computer. *Detective Inspector Alec Hardie (David Tennant)*: Not a front runner since he's the man leading the investigation… but could he have set up the whole thing in order to redeem previous failings in his career? Not likely. *Karen White (Vicky McClure)*: Reporter for the fiction Daily Herald (scenes set in its office are filmed our own HQ here at The Post). Out to get DI Hardie for a previous failed investigation and determined to get her story. Prepared to steal to cuddly toy from a crime scene but would she go so far as to kill to get what she wants? Probably not. *Reverend Paul Coates (Arthur Darvill)*: Surely the vicar of Broadchurch must be above suspicion? As tutor for the local computer club he knew both victim Danny and his friend Tom, and his nocturnal activities are beginning to draw attention. Also, he seems to turn up when Danny's mum Beth is in distress. A dark horse. *Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman)*: DI Hardie's second and mum of Danny's best friend Tom. There's zero chance she's the killer. *Susan Wright (Pauline Quirke)*: A nasty piece of work with a mysterious past. She threated to have the editor of the weekly paper, the Broadchurch Echo, raped for nosing around in her business. Definitely suspicious, but did she have anything to do with the murder, which happened near her home? Maybe. *Steve Connolly (Will Mellor)*: Telephone engineer and part-time medium who thinks he has messages from beyond the grave to help the case. Strange but perhaps not a killer. *Jack Marshall (David Bradley)*: The newsagent became a suspect when his history as a sex offender was uncovered but it turns out grief at the loss of his own son rather than anything sinister motivated him to run the local sea brigade. The press attention proved too much however, and he took his own life at the end of episode six. The early prime suspect was never likely to be the eventual killer. *Nige Carter (Joe Sims – a former South Gloucestershire College student from Longwell Green)*: Nige works for Danny's dad Mark and is a friend of the family and all-round nice bloke. Except he has a crossbow in the back of his van, connections to the dubious Susan Wright and is acting like a man with something to hide. A possibility. *Dean Thomas (Jacob Anderson)*: The older boyfriend of Danny's sister Chloe. Involved in drugs, he has kept his relationship with Chloe a secret. There's definitely more to learn about Dean. *Becca Fisher (Simone McAullay)* – owner of the Traders' Arms hotel, where DI Hardie is staying, and accompanied him to hospital when he fell ill from a mystery condition. Was having an affair with Danny's dad Mark and has connections to the town drug trade. Too soon to rule her out. Someone else? Tell us who by commenting below. Reported by This is 4 days ago.
